Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (Caregiver)
Position Summary:
The Personal Care Assistant provides compassionate, non-medical support to clients in their homes, helping them remain safe, independent, and comfortable. This role focuses on assisting with daily living activities while promoting dignity, respect, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
- Provide medication reminders.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying living areas).
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
- Escort clients to meals, appointments, or activities.
- Monitor and report changes in condition or behavior.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background check.
Work Environment:
